The new Chevrolet Malibu is a safe and reliable vehicle, with some of the latest safety features on the market. The 2021 model offers an available Rear Seat Alert that detects if someone has entered the backseat without opening a door first. If this happens, it will alert both occupants in front to make sure they know what's going on. This feature can be turned off by pressing the "Off" button at any time.
This is part of the Driver Awareness Package, which also includes Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Park Assist, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.
